Jack “Hollywood” Neihausen

Jack was born in Riga in 1948 and immigrated to New York in 1972. His short stories recall his childhood and youth in Latvia, and all the Shtatnik adventures!

In America, Jack built a life with another Shtatnik, the singer Aelita Neihausen (known as Аelita Fitingof back in Riga). Together they run an entertainment agency that promotes concerts across the globe. Aelita just finished recording her 5th album “Songs My Father Taught Me” – featuring music in Yiddish, Russian and French.
